EUGÈNE LEROY
Paintings
1 February through 31 May 2008
CAMPO SAN VIO, VENICE

On February 1 Michael Werner opened an exhibition of paintings by the French artist Eugène Leroy (1910-2000) in London's West End. These densely impastoed paintings ranging from 1958 to 1999 most often depict heads and figures emerging from thick layers of paint. This is the gallery’s second project in London and this exhibition is available for viewing by appointment. For more information please contact the gallery.
